I am Megan and I am a writer, traveller and wannabe photographer from Sydney.
I like reading fiction set in exotic places, quiet nights with Joni Mitchell, Hemingway’s sentences, browsing Flickr for photos of far-off places, listening to Bruce Springsteen on road journeys, a roll of black and white film in my Minolta and wandering streets of big cities.
Previous travels have included much of Australia, backpacking around Europe and two weeks travelling the length of Vietnam. Travels in 2008 have included the USA, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. In December and January, I’ll be travelling through Nepal and India, armed with three cameras, plenty of film, a moleskine and a close friend. In 2009 I will complete my postgraduate degree in creative writing.
